Firstly, the exciting stuff!!! We are pleased to announce and congratulate Abby Adams (and her partner Tom) had their first child Charlotte born on the 23rd November 2025. Abby is currently on maternity leave and hopes to make a return to the office all going well on or about May 2026. In the interim period Lynlea Carrodus is your first point of call for any client related matters that Abby handled.
We are also pleased to announce that my niece Tess Elkin joined the practice as an undergraduate accountant to take her first step into the accounting profession. We are impressed by Tess’ enthusiasm and diligence somewhat surprising for a Collingwood supporter!!!
Jarryd Lazzarini one of the existing Snelleman Tom accounting directors has also been introduced to a number of clients and has proved to be extremely valuable assistance to the team.
We have now been operating at the premises of Snelleman Tom since January and during this time have started the process of integrating our back of house systems so that we can move to being a fully integrated practice. Going forward our front of house systems will be changing and we would expect to be a fully integrated practice over the course of the next 18 months. This will include at first very simple things, like the phone being answered as Snelleman Tom and email addresses being from @snellemantom.com.au. We will continue to be trading as Coeus for the time being and you will be notified when we re-brand.
I have continued to have a challenging year with my health and have just re-started further chemotherapy treatment which will finish in February 2026. Chrissy Munro and Lynlea Carrodus continue to step up in my absence and now have primary responsibility for the running of the practice. Please where possible reach out to either of them as your first point of contact as opposed to myself for any work-related matters. Where my involvement is specifically required I am still able to be available on a limited basis but please direct your request through Chrissy or Lynlea.
I am hopeful that after my treatment completes in February that I will be able to contribute in a more meaningful way to the practice.
We will be closing the office at 5pm on 23rd of December and re-opening on the 5th January 2026.
