To say 2024 has been challenging for us would be an understatement. With my diagnosis in early January of Stage 4 cancer it brought into sharper focus for us the important things in life, family and friends.
Whilst my health has continued to improve it is important that we hope for the best but plan for the worst. With that in mind it was critical for us to find a business partner with similar values to us, had the capabilities to look after our clients and would be a good fit for our staff. We have been very fortunate to have been introduced to and now formed an ongoing business relationship with Martin Kerrigan and the team at Snelleman Tom.
To date we have taken a gentle approach to transitioning the business. Over the past six months he have been getting to know each other better identifying our respective strengths and looking at ways we can better work together for the collective benefit of everyone.
We have now decided that it is time for Coeus Advisers to relocate to the business premises of Snelleman Tom at Level 3 Mosaic Offices, 826 Ann Street, Fortitude Valley. Snelleman Tom has dedicated parking for clients and I have used that plenty of times already.
This is an exciting step as we will be able to work much closer together, learn from each other and most importantly produce better outcomes for our community of clients, friends and business colleagues. This will occur early in the New Year and we should be fully settled in by the end of January.
To Abby, Chrissy, Lynlea and Rebecca a special thank you for your ongoing dedication, professionalism and support. Despite all the distractions we have continued to produce a high quality service for our clients and kept the practice functioning with much less input from myself.
To our clients and business colleagues thank you, it has meant a lot to us that you have continued to support our business despite the uncertainty surrounding my health and we look forward to continuing to work with you in the New Year.
We will be closing the office at 5pm on Thursday 19th December and re-opening on Monday 6th January. In the New Year we intend to welcome you to our new digs.
We trust you are looking forward to a well-earned break over the Christmas season and get to enjoy some quality time with your family and friends.
